For instance, if we prepare a blank paper and ask children to put on it any stickers they like, they do as they like. As a result, every paper will be different and tinged with one’s personal character. Conversely, if the paper already has an illustration and indicates places for the stickers, their finished papers will be more or less the same. Children are ignorant but imaginative and seem to have more “blanks” for creativity. We believe that such a practice as capitalising on one’s uniqueness to a fare-thee-well is of great importance to make innovations, as its core, namely “originality”, lies in the diversity of human beings. We think that the success of this practice eventually changes our society.
